Amiable Communications

Amy Hetherington - household name, the NT’s favorite comedian and multi hatter person! She wears something like 8 different hats, she’s a comedian, a MC kween, a workshop trainer, a kid’s jester and soon-to-be-mumma.

Her old website wasn’t serving her as much as it should have so we moved her Wordpress website to a customised Squarespace site!

Clarity in Services 01

We started with an advisory session where we did some content strategy about her services. Amy wanted to make it very clear cut about the types of hats that she wears, so we made her services front and center with a custom icon to go with it!

A secondary navigational menu also highlights important information like About, Projects and contact information, but subtlety.

Colour coded landing pages 02

We love colour coding stuff! Amy’s brand had really bold and bright colours to suit her personality and she had gone back to her initial designer for more secondary elements that we scattered across the website.

Fun bits on the website 03

  1. Custom ‘framed’ image blocks with individual styles and image overlays

  2. Skill bars to show off Amy’s skills

  3. Contact form
Oh man, we’ve been waiting for *the right client* to use some custom confetti code, the screen explodes with conferring when you submit an enquiry to her form. Dare you to try it out!

  4. Customised 404 page

  5. Filtered content in each landing page to show it’s respective project type

Branded photos for the website 04

We had a clear idea of random photos for the website, like the subtle CTA sections and the sideways funny face for the services, so we did a full branding shoot with Amy and heck we ended with what feels like a million photos!
