This boutique bakery been feeding locals with artisinal baked goods for over 20 years.

Tweaking the old design 01

Michele, the owner, had difficulties managing and making urgent changes on the old site and so decided to move to Squarespace. We kept many of the original elements and just modernised the styling just a smidge.

 

Splitting the audience 02

We’ve been using this method a lot recently - it’s a perfect way to filter your audience to the right service with less clicks.

In this case the audience could choose between two locations, the main bakery in Parap and the Gateway outlet in Palmerston. We made the difference more obvious by changing up the colour scheme on the respective landing pages.

Additional functionality 03

  1. An extensive catering ordering form, allowing users to mix and match platter options. There’s some sneaky backend conditional formatting too, so that means the right store got the right order depending on the pick up area.

  2. A updated cake ordering form, like the catering form, had a much clearer option to flavour and style of cakes that could be made to order.

  3. Clear menu pages

  4. Different Instagram account integrated the different store landing pages
